Out for the summer...

  1. My school had summer 1 only and we are finished with finals and out until August! I only have one more semester to go.
I still cannot calm down from being in school. I feel that I still need to be studying something and organizing to keep it together. It is hard to let myself just haVE FUN now with the kids and work part time. I think its NURSING SCHOOL WITHDRAWALS.
Anybody else out for the summer?

Not out, but know exactly what you're talking about.

After committing 2 1/2 hrs daily to organic & Biochem last semester, I couldn't wind down for 2 weeks when the semester ended! That left me with 4 weekdays of relaxation. :chuckle

Enjoy it! I'll do the studying for you.

I've been out since the third week of May .. don't return until 14 August. Was just thinking yesterday of how bored I am, not counting activities with hubby and young son. I finished my first semester, and the syllabus for the second semester should be ready by mid-July. I'll try to get a jump on the reading, just to alleviate my "no-school" anxiety!!

Yes, I have been out since the second week of May. Try to enjoy yourself because Aug. will be here before we know it. June is just about over, can you believe how fast this year is passing!

We didn't get out for the summer! Had to go straight through! But that's ok, I don't mind...
Have fun with your children...they are loving having you home as much as you are loving being home!!!!!

I don't break for the summer all 3 weeks till August!!

I actually do mind, not the longer terms I knew that wuold happen but I mind the fact that the University campus has basically shut down, there is no where to buy food, and the libary is moving, and there is no extended residence contract for nursing students, and they have switched the internet off.

I was sat on my door step waiting for results the other day thinking about this, as I watched loads of other people move out of accomadation.

But it is character building, right???

I'm taking classes this summer, I like the routine and I'm out by 2 pm everyday, so it's not so bad.

    Enjoy the Summer !

It has been raining for the past two weeks! It gets hard coming up with things for them to do but I have been to the library to get books I want to read instead of textbooks!

we got out the second week in may, and we don't go back until aug 28th. i keep trying to "relax" & "enjoy" my summer & free-time, but i can't. i am so pathetic!

i am working on the study guides and reading my textbooks for my fall classes. two days a week, i am volunteering at a local hospital.

i am also working overtime at my full-time job to save up some extra money. so, my new work schedule is monday, wednesday & friday 7a - 9p & tuesday & thursday 7a - 4p.

i know i should be relaxing, but for some reason i can't! ugghhh!

    Hi there!

Yes, I am out for summer also. I know the feeling of "nose in book" withdrawal symptoms. You feel guilty for doing anything else. I've had the entire summer off so I'm over it now. Now I'm just trying to clean the house and get organized for fall.

I have a very full load for fall. I start my A&P, and I'm taking Algebra, Govt., and World Lit. Plus, I'm president of one of our clubs. We are looking forward to a great semester. We are hoping to tour a medical school in Texas.

Enjoy your summer, it goes so fast!
