You will be expected to maintain a certain GPA. You will spend a lot of money to lose sleep, stress over tests, have less time for a social life and wipe butts on a regular basis.
My advice?? If you're looking for an easy major, pass up Nursing and take up English or Philosophy.

Define "hard". You are asking a subjective question.
The question that may be more important is do you want to be a nurse? If the answer is yes then what difference does it matter if it is "hard" or "easy"? You must complete nursing school to be allowed to take the NCLEX. If the question is "What job is easy, but pays a lot of money"? There are none. Win the lottery maybe?

It's hard. It certainly takes dedication. If you want to be a nurse, then you have to give school 100%. Sometimes the social life or particular family obligations have to take a back seat when you have an upcoming test. It is doable but it's also difficult at times.
Only you will be able to decide how difficult it is and whether or not you have the dedication to achieve your goals.

Good day:
Compared to prerequisites, nursing school is extremely hard. I kissed my 4.0 GPA goodbye after the first mini-semester. In our school, you have to maintain a 75% or higher in theory classes; fail two theory classes, and you are out of the program. Clinicals are pass/fail. Fail two skills in a mini-semester, and you are out of the program. Show up one or more SECONDS late to a clinical, and it is treated as one skill failure. Wear the wrong shoes, missing a name badge, etc., and you get sent home from clinicals with only one make up day for clinicals.
Yes, it is hard. Though as one previous poster wrote, easy and hard are subjective terms; and that's something to keep in mind. ONLY YOU, determines what is hard for you, and what is easy for you.
Thank you

I thought it was easy. The material is not particularly difficult but there is a lot of it. The only component where rote memorization works is a&p 1. Every other class is all about understanding. Everything links together. You may find school hard, easy or somewhere in-between.
