Motivation to workout - nursing student

Im a second year nursing student, and with clinical, work and studying its so hard to find the time to work out and most importantly the motivation!!! I have a gym membership and try to go but i find myself exhausted after - makes my 6ams harder

I am one of the few people who workout and clean eat in my program and i find it extremely frusterating watching all the students eat poutine, and donuts all day while I'm eating salad.

People suggestions, motivations tipsss!

I am going on a trip and i would like to be slim for it - i have only one month which happens to be the heaviest time of the semester!

from what i understand, there is evidence that correlates exercise to your brain function...

however... if you're exercising because you do not want to get fat, you're misinformed... dieting/your diet will control this. watch watch you eat and you won't have to worry about the gym.

Is this trip your only motivation? I found that working out helped me maintain my sanity in nursing school (and beyond). Maybe set some fitness goals, and look beyond the gym. Do you ENJOY anything active? Is there something more readily available, like a basketball court, nice hiking trail, or on-campus swimming pool?

Exercising will also give you the energy to get through school. You'll find you're more fatigued if you are a couch potato.

Don't put an emphasis on slim, put an emphasis on Healthy. And if you don't like the gym then why not find something you actually enjoy? Water sports? Bike riding? Hiking? There are many things to do outside the gym that can make for some great exercise and be stress relievers.

Clean bulk while aiming to stay the same weight. Iono about you buy I felt like I had tons of time to train on a daily basis during school.

Motivation comes from within so we can't really help you there. I'm in my last year of nursing school and have managed to maintain my routine of lifting weights 6 days a week with 1 rest day. My gym isn't even 24/7. I just go when it is convenient. Of course I live at home, only work 10 hours a week, and have no children, so my situation is likely different.
