How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

Hi,

my name is Amy (tajjelias) I am working on ADN program, finished the first year with C = CONTINUE.

I have a 2yr and 3yr old....both busy boys ---

Going to start OB in fall semester.....I hear this is the big bear !!! Class of 2003 lost 15 students......Not very encouraging......

Any hints from those recently passing OB rotation....?

Nice to meet all -

Hi everyone,

My name is Tina Rager. I live in North Carolina and I will begin in the ADN program this fall for the second time. You see I actually started last year in the ADN program but my daughter broke her jaw and had to have her jaw wired shut just one month after I started so I had to pull out to take care of her. So now I'm going back. Ive completed all of my prereqs and am ready to go!! I'm married and have three children, 19, 16 and 12.

Good luck to everyone!

Nice to meet you all and good luck with your studies!
