How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I am Stephany, 42, mother of 3 children, a son 22, a daughter 15, and a son 13. I am an LPN of nearly 11 years, and I am in my first semester of a five-semester rn program.

Care to share?

I'm Debbie, mom to 7, 4 boys and 3 girls.

I started my prereqs this week (Algebra, academic writing, psych and Bio) for ADN............to finish up in May of 2005 (if all goes well)

Good luck to all in your classes, and in managing home, school and work :)

I'm Heather, mother of 2 boys, 21 years old, will graduate my adn program in May! (HIP HIP HOORAY!!!)

Specializes in Adult Med-Surg, Rehab, and Ambulatory Care.

30-yr old happily married mom of 3 rugrats (9, 7 and 6 mos.)...pre-reqs done, took time off to have a baby and ready to go back in January to start clinicals in a 2-yr nursing program. Took me a while to figure out what I wanted to be "when I grew up."

That about sums it up! :)
