I'm going to be drowning in my last semester!

Planning out my schedule for next semester (my last!!!!! woo hoo!!!!) and I think I'm in trouble. I have 9 credit hours of nursing school, which we all know is pretty much full time. I have more work with 9 credit hours of nursing school than I did the semesters I was taking 15 credit hours.

Anyway, back on track, 9 credit hours of nursing school, 3 credit hour pharm class, 3 credit hour public speaking class, Honors program, student rep for my class, student rep for Kaplan (got their program free for doing it), starting a job, hoping to run a marathon in April so I'll have to get my training going, and I have a family. Plus, there's graduation, getting a nursing job lined up, studying for NCLEX, etc.....

I don't know if I'm physically capable of doing it. I know that the first thing I'll give up is the marathon, but still, I am freaking out!!!!

Anyone else feeling this way?

Lol yes. I'm taking a full load, working two part time jobs, volunteering, and trying to find time for friends and myself. I'm going to start studying for nclex over break and next semester is my last! Good luck you can do it! I can't believe you are training for a marathon, that sounds ambitious lol!

I used to feel like that when I was doing my LPN program. Now in my LPN-ADN, I feel like it is such a joke.

GL and keep up ur positive attitude!

ps, training for a marathon is the ONLY thing that got me through all the stress... It would NOT be the first thing I gave up since it was the only thing that kept me sane

I know how you feel! You can do it! Coffee, coffee, and more coffee. Good luck! :nurse:

Thanks guys. I know we all have a lot on our plates. We'll get through it! :)

The marathon isn't my first, otherwise there'd be no way I'd do it right now. I am really hoping to not have to give it up, but trying to find time for long runs is going to be tough. :(

nothing is impossible some days are harder than others but its doable take one step at a time and you will look back and feel accomplished.

Organization and planning is the key for me!! I'm also going into my last semester (yayy!) I work part time in a hospital (2 12hr shifts) and about to start a new contingent job at another hospital on top of planning a destination wedding!! I'm getting my planner ready for the new year and I have to stick to it 100%! There's no room for error! Good luck to you!!
