Please, please, please let school start soon. I can't concentrate on the job I have ... all I think about is what I'm going to need to do once school starts. So start already!!!

Anyone else feel the same way???? :(

Me Too!! I am so excited about this fall!!

I've decided to pursue my dream to become a nurse. Boy, was it an ambitious dream for me - mother of two boys:) I took my prereqs, I passed chemistry (which I never learned in HS) with 87, I was studuing with a little crying baby on my arms, who was chweing on my labs when I was prepering for an exam. Now. Everything is settled. Lots of paperwork, had to redo all my vaccinations, since I've lost all my records. Had my HS diploma translated from a diferent language. Found the day cares. Ordered stethoscopes. God, I AM anxious. I am excided and nervous. I don't know HOW am I going to pull it through. I just know that I will.

shishel....congrats on all the hard work!!!!! Good luck next semester.

The more I read this thread, the more excited I get for Fall. Right now I'm taking Poli Sci and it's hard to get excited about that, plus the class goes until Aug 9-way too long. What I am excited about it getting back into the classes that I feel really matter, like A&P II. After Fall, I can apply!!!

I bounce back and forth daily. I graduate in May so that's a good thing. Got two more semesters of instructor hell....bad thing. Work full time and enjoy my job....good thing. Have to study in between working...bad thing. Already have a guaranteed job....good thing. So right now, as you can see, I'm feeling a little "bipolar" about school!!! LOL!

I know the feeling.:o I was starting my junior year, taking OB. On the first day of class, our instructor handed out a syllabus as thick as the book "Dr. Zhivago". One of my classmates took one look at it, picked it up, along with her books and purse, walked out of class...and never came back....

I can't wait either. This is almost as bad as being a little kid waiting for Christmas to get here. I've even starting reading some of my textbooks. LOL Just wait and see how quickly that novility (SP) wears off.

I know what you mean. I'm still waiting for my letter. I took the NET for the second time last week and this waiting is aggravating me. I need to know so I can go ahead with one of my back up plans. And I still have to find daycare for my 6mth. old son....arrrrghhh.

Sounds like most of us are in the same boat ... be funny to read our posts two months from now when we are all overwhelmed and sick of school and studying and second guessing ourselves about our chosen path!!!

For me ... 23 days and counting .... :D

Glad to see so many people feel like me - anxious to get back to business again, but take a peek into the new books and thumb through last semester's notes and say yikes, why am I doing this to myself again again?!!!!!!

That is the great thing about quarters instead of semesters. Two months after class starts in August, I will be finished with Fundamentals of Nursing 1. I will be getting a 2 week vacation (starting somewhere around the 3rd of October) and then starting the next set of classes.
