I graduated on the 13th, and have all of my paperwork to the state but for my statement of graduation from the school. I hear it can take upwards of a month to get it all in before the ATT comes. How long did you have to wait? And how long after you got the ATT before you actually took the test? I suppose I should be doing practice questions along with my reading for summer school, huh? :o

Every place is different and the time we were told to expect was much longer then it took. Commencement was May 10th, We could pick up our official Transcripts on May 12th at 8:30 am. We took our applications and transcripts straight to the head office in Denver that same morning. So we were there about 9:45 am. Dropped off all the paperwork, some had the ATT that afternoon, I had mine the next morning close to noon. (they told us it could take 2 weeks). So I got my ATT on the 13th. I scheduled my NCLEX on the 16th. I drove to another state to take it. 3 1/2 hrs away. Took it Monday morning at 8:00 AM. My License was on the states website with my License number the next afternoon. Quick results weren't even available through Pearson yet! They said that it could take a couple weeks to show up on the states website and to get our Lic. I had my actual wallet paper license by Sat. the 21st.

Specializes in Critical Care (ICU/CVICU).

Graduated the 14th. Received my ATT this past Tuesday.

Specializes in Med/Surg, Academics.

Online application to the state and registration with Pearvue took 10 minutes, and I did both before my graduation ceremony. Criminal background check was done within 24 hours of calling the vendor to make an appointment, which I did three days after graduation. Getting the education paperwork from from my school took two weeks from graduation. All three needed to be done and sent to the state to receive my ATT.

I received my ATT via email one day after all paperwork was with the state.

I graduated the 13th, had my state paperwork and Pearson account set up beforehand, and got my ATT 1 week later, and will be taking my NCLEX-PN on June 27th. There were earlier test dates, but they didn't work for me. Our school had our transcripts fast tracked so they'd be sent out quicker than everyone elses, haha.

Specializes in Emergency/Cath Lab.

Considering it took my school 3 weeks to release my transcripts, it took forever. Once it actually did go through, took maybe 2 days.

Specializes in ortho, med/surg.

i've been out of school for 3 weeks and am still waiting! i suspect the wait is from my school not the state though...i'm in indiana...

Specializes in ER, progressive care.

I had to wait 2 months for mine (TX), but that is because I had to send in traditional ink/paper fingerprints and not the digital ones because I was from out of state...and they couldn't read the first set. The TXBON would not send my ATT until I submitted readable fingerprints that could be used for a CBI.

On the flipside, I am originally from OH and in the past my friends had to wait about a month to get their ATT. I think now it's different through, because of a large amount of May grads...the OHBON is falling behind.
