I did work my butt off. The first few week I thought I was not even going to pass, and I ended up with an A- in pharmacology and pathophysiology. I guess not having a life paid off.

Congrats!
I would imagine not having a life would be an advantage for nursing students. It cuts down on the distractions! However, like anything that is mentally taxing, you need to have a hobby or some kind of outlet that lets you get away from the books now and then so you can recharge the batteries.

I didn't have much of a life during nursing school, but it is sure paying off now. I learned a lot and can be a really good nurse. The opportunities are amazing. Keep up the good work.

Having no life while in school is worth the results. My husband told me for years to go back to get my RN, but being a person who hated school put it off for too many years. I am not glad that I went back to school. I cried alot and had many a sleepless night. At that time I was raising 5 kids, working full-time. I don't know how I did it but I did and it has paid off now. I don't regret a thing.

I don't actually start nursing school until August, but I know that for the next two years, I will focus 100% on studying and will not be having a life...but then again, I don't really have much of a life right now!!!
