What about the NCLEX? How can you already start working?
Many states issue some type of temporary permit to practice so that you can start working in that graduate nurse period between graduation & when you pass NCLEX and are working as an RN or LPN.

We can work as a RNA-Registered Nurse Applicant for 90 days after we graduate, and we have to pass the nclex in those 90 days. same pay as RN. This hospital also requires you to take the Kaplan nclex review, and pays for it. and pays you salary to be there to take it. Thats' built into orientation time. NOw i have no idea if the RNA thing is state-wide, or just this hospital system.

On May 31st, I'll start my first RN job. I found out today I'll be working in the Cardiac Surgery Progressive Care Unit.
Yay! Finally a job!
