What is everyone's opinion on those books? Have you found one to be better than the other? Or a preference. I start fundamentals soon and would like to get one to start some pre reading done

I just got the Fundamental's Success book and LOVE it!! I don't know anything about the other one.

Personally, I used the Success series throughout the nursing program and really liked it. We used to even have questions pulled from there or very similar. I think they probably are both good but I found the study guides to teh text to be the most useful.

I have Fundamentals Success....it is good. I have a test next week so I'll let you know. I have gone over the practice exams and read all the answers-right and wrong. It gives you the reason why and what you need to look for. I'm really into NCLEX style questions and how not to be so intimidated by them.

Okay my 2 cents.

I'd get fundamental success it was a life savor for my tests. It teaches you how to take the tests and breaks it down by topics. I don't think made incredibly easy would be necessary at this point. Maybe once you get to med-Surg.

I had fundamentals success that I used last semester, but I also have a magazine subscription to nursing made incredibly easy (among others). I haven't used the fundamentals made incredibly easy, but judging by the books and magazines I have seen from them, they are helpful if you really want someone to give you a step by step for things. It dumbs it down for you, so once you understand the basic concept, you're more likely to understand it more in depth in your other textbooks, etc.

Fundamentals success is entirely a Q&A book with rationales, and could be good for studying for NCLEX as well.

So, as for which to buy I think it depends on how much help you really need.
