One more week of classes, and two more weeks until pinning for me!! For all you folks in school right now, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I wish I were nearing the end of the school portion of the journey instead of at the very beginning. 2 more semesters before I can apply to the program!

All I'll say is that when you get a job, the real education begins. Good luck to the new students and new nurses who posted above! Stay strong, you've joined a tough, but very rewarding profession!

The greatest part of starting out is "I don't know anything" and being nervous, which you should be so you can really think about what you're doing. But then you apply school learning to the real world of nursing a bit at a time. The compassion to help, the skills, and the listening with empathy, gaining trust with clients will come soon. It's a very demanding profession, but so satisfying to make someone's day.

This is a good one. I can't wait for school this Fall.
I have 2 semesters left ( fall and spring) and I will finally be done, I must say once your in the program you are so focused, the time kind of goes by very quick. But, you will be tested, many times you will want to give up. Looking back I'm glad it's almost over and I never knew what I was capable of until now.
