I finally get to post that I am done with nursing school. I first found this website as an assignment in my first quarter of school. I have chugged along and gone through stress beyond belief, crazy clinical situations, papers from you know where, burnout, irritating classmates (there is a really old thread called tell me about the wacko in your nursing class that is a hoot to read) unfair test questions, ERIs, HESIs, you name it, I survived it. I have been hanging out in allnurses, being jealous of those finishing and feeling good whenever a new class entered, because both of these things signified that my time to be done was getting closer.
I have a job (in an area I LOVE but never would have chosen for myself 2 years ago), and am waiting for my authorization to test. To tell you the truth it is a little sad, I am going to miss all my NS friends, we joke around that we are so close because we have survivor syndrome.
I am getting sentimental, guess it's time to stop. Just make sure that you enjoy the journey.

Are there different HESI tests? Mine was an exit exam. Do you need a certain score on it for pre-nursing? Perhaps they want a baseline. We had to take the NET test our first quarter.
Best of luck to you, you are in for the ride of your life, it will be difficult, but oh so worth it.
