If you are going into the nursing field at all, you need to lose that kind of attitude!!! I do not mean that to sound harsh, I just know that if you go into it with that attitude, you will never make it. I have seen it happen to too many nurses.

Aspirations in high school are sometimes different than the paths we actually take.........It is great that you are aiming for such a lofty goal but please remember how much care and compassion it takes to get there...$$$ is not everything. Good luck to you.

Weelll, I just got accepted to a nursing program, and I have already thrown any preconcieved notions I might have had outta the window! I have the said mindset: If I want to be a nurse, and a good one at that...I need to experience everything, even the things that are gag gross....doesn't matter what goals I have in regards to my career...I in no way expect to NOT get my hands dirty. Hmmm, you might go into shock if you think you won't have to experience the gross stuff. Good luck with school. I know I can't wait for the fall to get here:)
