  1. In nursing school do you have to bathe a person? or is it after youve graduated?
  2. i was looking around the site but couldt find the pre-reqs people took to get in crna school. but what classes did you guys take? is there really any?
  3. that figure seems high.
  4. ipaqs are rated better than dell's pda, save your self the trouble and buy a pda worth while. what you pay for is what you get in electronics. look at reviews in www.pcmag.com or other sites before you buy a pda and make sure it is reliable from critic reviews and user reviews. just my .02

3 classes is the min. to get in the program. But i went to philippines for hs and they have no 6 or 7th grade so i skipped when i got there and came back(parents desicion). Does anybody knwo how long the acc. program takes to finish while working though?

well the 1 exp. is pretty broad so i heard. is there any easy/less stressful "critical care setting" departments i can work at and still do well in the rn-bsn program?

yes i applied and got in this fall. yeah i was thinking about something going to suffer, im probably better off going to school then getting that 1 yr exp.

yes i know but 3 years o pre-reqs? not here though becuase thers only 3 classes min. to get in the RN nursing program here. after summer ill be done with all the necessary pre-reqs, so i can get in the RN program. But the acc. RN-BSN route sounds good because i can get my 1 year of ICU experience and get my BSN same time.

I know this course takes one year if your a full time student but has any one done this while working as a RN? How long did it take to complete? what was your schedule like?
  12. unfortunatly, they are college courses. Im 16 and in college; i went to a international highschool where they have no 6th or 7th grade so i just skipped freshman and sophmore year of highschool and just graduated. so will they affect my chance? im still wondering if i should try to get in nursing school ASAP or just wait till im 18 and do as much pre-reqs as i can then go. any advice would be great:)
  13. i got a B in sociology and C in Humanities. Do these classes really matter or should i retake them to get an A. I was really dissappointed in my HUM class because half the grade was on quizes which i did good on and the other half was on a creative project, which he didn't like so i was just wondering does that class matter? my GPA is still 3.4

I agree totally that the show does have its shortcomings. I watched a discovery channel documentary on the real "ER" in England. The major things i've noticed is the pace of the treatment of the patients. In their hospital, the patients came in slow with no screaming and commotion, but I know their is times when their is a rush surgery and such. Another point that one of the England doctors made was that many of their patients die and only a few actually make it. In contrast, ER has these surgeries that turn out with a happy ending that puts this mentality into the viewers that whoever goes in the ER will come out alive. ER is entertaining but you got to separate reality from fantasy.
