We are allowed to miss 2 clinical days. Since I am in my last semester and have not missed any days in the last 2 years, I am taking my 2 days off before clinicals are over.

We go 0645-1545 on tuesday and wend. You can only miss clinicals if you are dead or near death. And if near death you will make the time up or fail

Ours are M-T 0730-1400. If we miss one, it is made up by spending 6 hours in the Skills Lab doing a simulation. Basically you are given a case study and you have to do all your med sheets, lab sheets, and care plans based on that. I'd imagine it sucks. My skills teacher told me it's supposed to, otherwise people would miss clinical more often.

There are only two make up days scheduled, so I don't know what happens if you miss more than that. Nothing good, I'm sure.

At our school you are allowed to miss a maximum of two clinical days per semester - but each time you miss it knocks 2.5% off of the top of your grade! The third absence fails you.
