What a lousy week!! I came into nursing with a 4.0 average! I'm a Phi Theta Kappa member! And I failed my unit test this week! I have kept my grades up well all through nursing~~ now with only 10 weeks to graduation, I fail!! :chair:
The test was over neuro, and heart disease and heart failure! It was horrible!!!
Well, thanks for the venting time! Back to the books! Can't let that happen again!

Sorry that this happened to you Misty, but one test is not in any way an indication of what kind of nurse you will be and that is what counts. Shake it off and move on. You will do better next time and lucky for us, their is always another test just around the corner to prove it!
Best to you!

One test means nothing. "Jump through the hoops...you'll get what you want." Go on and learn. A lot of the times it is just getting used to a different kind of test. Good luck. You CAN do it!

You didn't fail--you just didn't pass ONE test....You said the key words--only 10 weeks until graduation. Just start looking forward to how well you'll do on the next test. Your 4.0 record speaks for itself and not just the results of one unit exam.

Her program may let you fail one test.. But some programs it isn't so easy to just say I failed a test.. Cause that one test can get you kicked out of the program...

Sorry to hear you did not pass, I know how you feel. The same thing happened to me last semester at the final exam.
Anyhow.....
Great....that is what my test is on on Monday. Now I am scared and know that I should be getting off of these boards and starting to study again.
Does anyone know if the schools follow the same curriculum? I think it is interesting that my test is on the smae exact stuff. Do you mind sharing some examples of test questions?

I know how you feel
I just got an 8/15 on an online quiz. You will work that much harder, I know you can do it:) Although I am stressing out myself now too. It was in one of my management classes(which I am sooo not interested in) and myself only two months away from grad from my BSN program. Anyhow, I don't think a person should be thrown out over one exam, everyone has their off day for test, or maybe had reasons they slacked with studying this one time. It does not mean they should not be given another chance.
Good luck
PS Ours is the average as well

I am so sorry I am feeling that way too...I came into nursing 150 with a 4.0 and got 70's on my first 2 exams.
I like the advise to "shake it off" and proceed full speed ahead - your grades show you are an awesome student! Good luck.
