Why did you join allnurses??

As many of you are aware we "allnurses' staff went to Washington DC and had a booth in the exibitors floor.

During our time at the booth in DC we had many people who said they surfed allnurses.com site but didnt join and become members even though it is free to join.

So my question is what made you take the plunge and become a member?

And for those surfing the web site right now, why dont you join and tell us why you never joined before?

I am just interested really why?

Had my ADN and was in school to get my BSN when I was sitting in lecture and saw a student in front of me on allnurses.com. Decided to look into it and here I am :)

I was actually looking for a forum for nursing assistants. I had joined and interacted on one particular forum, but was bothered and frustrated by the (forgive me) stupidity I was reading.

I think that's how I ended up here.

I don't think I joined until I made up my mind I was actually going to pursue my RN, but I did lurk for a year or two, I think.

I have been hooked since.

A place to learn and goof off.
