ABSN or Physician assistant program? Like which requires more studying?

Apples and oranges

Specializes in CCRN.

Very different programs. Both will require a good bit of studying.

Specializes in ICU, LTACH, Internal Medicine.

Despite of great differences in subjects, speaking about intensity alone - PA programs are generally more intense.

It's not fair to compare the two. A PA program is at the provider level - working a patient up, diagnosing, treating, etc. So it will be more intense, naturally, than an ABSN.

Comparing a NP program and a PA program is more of a fair comparison. Still, though, a PA program is more intense. They take a non medical professional and make them a provider in 2 years. Whereas a NP program takes a medical professional and makes them a provider in 2 years. It's an easier process to take a nurse and train them than a non health care professional.
