I wonder if Ebay have someone selling this serie on DVD?
    I would be very interested!
As for the whole idea and all comments are just "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"!
Did someone mentionned: "you are starting shortstaffed, the nursing supervisor who :dumps" on 2 admits at the time is on tonight, no secretary, no PCA. 5 mins after getting report 2 patients are coding and 1 is yours,
your other pt is ... active upper GI bleed, needing is 2 units of PRBC STAT in a pressure bags (because he's having chest pain and a systolic of 77, flat in bed, pox 90% on NRM...)...The call-lights and phone are going off, the visitors are still waiting for stuff outside in the halls(ice, tissues, for you to call the MD, who is at home, because they need to talk to them again ).
You wished you had not eaten that chinese food!!!!

All the emotional issues, telling the family about the grim outcome, the difficult-know-it-all(no-don't-take-your-potassium-daddy-that's-what-they-give-for-the-executions) daughter-in-panic-state, that know the attorney-general and such-such Dr.Smith. These that refuse to respect visiting hours, (and are interfering and questioning everything you are doing, although it's been explained 10 times by 10 differents MD_NP_RN. You are too busy to take care of the 5 family members, you got to save lives. And you got to bring that temp of 105 fast before he seizes. Lots PVC's and a K level of 2.1. :deadhorse :lol_hitti :smiley_ab :selfbonk:

The frustration of looking for pumps, dressings, no pharmacist at night, trying to give emotional support to the mother of the SOB-scared-anxious-in-pain child which the MD perforated a lung placig a central line. The child need a chest tube and the only surgeon available (night shift) is the same MD as the TLC incident...
You heard it (the one that was yelling "give me a straw {to cut the ties}", "Let me out of this hotel, the service is rotten, they are keeping me against my will for my organs... the tied-pt Houdini managed to get out of restraints...
You heard it, that sound when the pt falls and hit their head on the floor, blown pupils, hematoma. Good night Irene
And how about the 99 year old who says:"no, thanks, I don't need anything else, go take care of the sick ones!!!! I'll be all right! :angel2:

Lastly, great tool to tell people: "Yes, if you have chest pain at 35 years old, go to the ER STAT. Same with the numbness, all those signs of CVA could be blasted over and over... The public needs to be more informed on these basic elements. As well as not to show up with the broken toe in the ER.

And NO WE ARE NOT MAKING ENOUGH MONEY, HAVE NO FREE INSURANCE, HAVE VERY RARELY A LUNCH NOR PI BREAK...
BUT... WE ALL LOVE WHAT WE ARE DOING "

Where can you spend all your birthdays, anniversaries, holidays with all your friends, year after year!

couldn't have said it better...sounds like you work at my hospital!
