By the way, when I mentioned in my post that it's never too late to get into anything, I really did mean it. No, I really wasn't being glib. There are people who have gone into nursing when they are in their 50's, and maybe some, age 60. Like I've said before, think this out. An accelerated BSN is challenging to say the least, and it'd be a shame to expend so much blood, sweat, and tears just to discover this is not something that you really want to do, or that you'd thought nursing would be totally different from the reality. It's not like on TV programs, not even close. I'm just encouraging you to take some time and think. You may end up saving yourself a lot of heartache, not to mention, money, in the end.
