Thank God for NURSES

First of all, I want to say what a great support this website has been. Sometimes we get so busy keeping our nose to the grindstone, we don't bother to take care of our own needs and it helps tremendously having a peer group to talk shop with. I want to thank renerian and youda for your thoughtful responses to my posts and it helps knowing that you're not in it alone.

To all, keep being the great people, nurses, and angels that you are to everyone you encounter!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, Gambro...Always good to know someone's there..24/7. If you have an urgent question at 0300, you can receive an answer ! If you need a hug at 0400, you'll get one !

gambroRN, thank you for saying that. I can't tell you how much it means to me. You brought a few tears to my eyes. Everyday I tell myself that I'm posting too much, that I need to shut-up . . . which is just about the same thing I say to myself everyday when I go to work and try so hard to get good care for my patients . . . and I tell myself to shut-up and be like everyone else . . .

Then some patient hugs me and tells me thank you. Or one of you wonderful, wonderful people who hang around allnurses finds something I've said of value to you . . .

And it gives me hope. And I thank you all for giving me that hope and companionship. Thank you.

I always know there's going to be something GOOD there, something wise, and written from the heart.. the soul. I learn a LOT from you guys, and -jt, too ! I learn more every time I come here... I'm a SPONGE and don't want to dry up, ok? You guys are a refreshing breeze on this board... little tidbits of wisdom floating by, to be snatched up by all who want to learn and grow... you just keep on keepin' on, ok?
