Being an elderly nurse I was raised wearing white seamed nylons (yeah THAT old)

Any way that became pantyhose and then knee high trouser sox.

I have such a problem with sox that crawl into my shoes.

Any ideas how to look professional with crawly sox?

What do you mean when you say crawly?

I wear thigh-high TED hose, and Hanes crew socks (pulled up) over that at work (the TEDs by themselves make my feet sweat way too much in my Crocs).

I notice that when any knee socks i wear on my days off slip down, it's usualy because my skin is dry. I put lotion on down to my ankles, not on my feet, and that helps my socks stay put.

Foot and shoe powder and sprays can also make socks creep.

Also, the sock elastic might be shot or the socks might be too big.

i'm with marie--knee high compression hose are by far my favorite (and i'm a young newbie..haha) and then ankle-rise white athletic socks. oh, and lots of baby powder to soak up yucky sweat.

I wear TEDS sometimes, but usually the ones with the hole in the toe, and the sox really didn't crawl as much. It works I guess, but the hole pressures my toe underneath. Maybe I need thicker socks or maybe velcro to hold them up on my leg :) :) LOL

They make a closed-toe version of the hose, that's what i wear.

I had bought a pair of the knee-high version of the hose, but my thighs still hurt at the end of the day, so that's why i bought the thigh-high one. They're wonderful.

And also, people sell the hose on eBay for less $$$ and they're brand new-never worn.

Try Gold Toe brand socks for stay put power.
