Overseas contractor jobs for RN's

Has anyone heard of anyone working in Saudi Arabia or any foreign place that was a US trained RN.

A co worker who is an RN worked in Saudi Arabia. She lived there with her husband while he worked there as a contracter. She said the pay is very very poor and she eventually quit. I believe she said she made $7.00/hr.

Clarification: she was an RN whose husband was a contractor (maybe engineer) who got sent to Saudi Arabia for business.
