For Indiana Wesleyan Univ. most of the class works fulltime.
I work Mon- Fri fulltime and I find it doable. You will need to manage your time.

It is doable, we get the entire syllabus at the start of each class with all of the assignments that are due for that class.
In this way, you can complete some assignments beforehand in case you have a schedule conflict.

There's lots of writing and that took some getting used to for me.
Also, if you need electives, you can take those at Indiana Wesleyan online.
I'm glad I started, I look forward to finishing . My last class is in June 2010, the time really flies by.

I'm going to FHCHS. I looked into A LOT of online programs before finally deciding on this one. I considered Chatham because they were slightly less expensive but I couldn't get in touch with anyone in a timely manner.

I also considered Fort Hays, UOP, UOW, UONA and several others and they were either too expensive or hard to get anyone on the phone. Some required too many prerec's.

I found Krista at FHCHS very easy to talk to and she was very patient with all of my questions - I once called her 3 x in one day - but mostly every day. She told me which classes to take before hand to get a few out of the way the summer before I start.

Granted, I haven't started yet, but this and other threads really helped me decide (I think it was Tweety that convinced me). The tuition will end up being around 15,000 - 18,000 depending on how many of my credits transfer.

As far as accreditation goes, are these online programs that have been mentioned here NLNAC, CCNE....and does anyone know the differences in accreditations?

I am going to move forward with my RN to BSN online, then Master's after some experience, but I want to make sure the college where I want to get a Master's accepts my RN to BSN.

thank you.

I have been in contact with Chamberlain College. They are accredited by CCNE and NLNAC, which is approved by the department of education. This was the big concern from the university that I was contemplating as a future Master's location.

Here is a link to find out if your school is accredited and by whom.

Linfield College offers a fully accredited online RN-BSN degree that is one of the best in the nation. In addition, they have also published an extremely helpful "Online College Guide" that can help prepare students for online studies.

Best of luck!
