You have a person with lady partsl candidiasis. She has a reaction to miconazole so the usual over-the-counter stuff can't be used. The other choices of Mycelex (which I think is clortrimazole) works poorly. What do you suggest that doesn't require a prescription? Any old time remedies we can recommend to this person?

Ny statin? I've also read somewhere that yogurt with active cultures inserted lady partslly can work, but have only seen it once, and I don't think it was a medical source.
Can you get Nystatin over the counter?

without fruit.... the plain kind without sugar or flavoring.... the kind that looks like clotted cream.

Mattigan, what is with you and the clotted cream?
Do I need to post the vomiting smilie again? :chuckle
Yes, I love that smilie.
Actually, I was just trying to help Sunnygirl out by giving her a visual reference because the yogurts were confusing her.. I knew Sunny would remember clotted cream because she turned down the dinner invitation at my house but really Whisper was the first to mention it.
Oh... in answer to the orginial question... around here the old wives tale is douche with diluted vinegar in water. I dunno though.
now, i have been researching to help the friend of vegas...and i see nothing on the websites of which flavor and /or style is encouraged for douching...hmmm...
"mmm, is that new perfume you're wearing? You smell like 'fruit on the bottom'... :chuckle
Okay, SERIOUSLY now..... :)
