I've had my nose pierced for about four years now. I have an interview tomorrow, and have been thinking of getting rid of it for good. Has anyone had any good experiences with facial piercings in the work place?

Take it out for the interview. If you're hired, you'll be given their policies etc regarding piercings.

Good luck :)

Take it out for the interview. Just like the PP said that they will give you the policy once you are hired. I have worked with many nurses who had nose piercings.

Yup....take it out for the interview.

In my experience, most facilities allow a small, tasteful stud in the nose while at work. But yep, it has to go for the interview.

I have a small stud on my nose. Took it out during my interview. When I got hired.. I put it back on. It's pretty small and my supervisor hasn't said anything to me. I've thought about getting rid of it for good.

I took mine out for interviews I've had this year. I do wear a small stud at work and it has been fine. Of course I am the supervisor. Each facility will have its own rules. Also depends on the part of the country you live in. Here in upstate NY it is common place.
