Hi. I wish I could remember the source, but I recall just hearing on the news the other day where there were a high number of cases where the wrong body parts were removed. I understand there is going to be a crack down on these. Does anyone out there recall the media source of this recent information?

the topic, read your reply 3 times !! Oh yes, I heard it also, on the radio this week, it was on several times....and an article in the local newspaper. One doctor said there was"" no excuse for these kind of errors," and suggested something as simple as using a black felt marker to mark the spot, e.g., mark the knee, shouder, etc., so the right one doesn't get the knife when it shoulda been the left, part of the pre-op prep I guess.

The lawyer gets 50% . It was settled out of court..never even went to trial. How long will it take for a nurse to make 3 mill? a lifetime of work and we will still never make 3 mill. wish i had gone to law school.
