The New Overtime Bill To Take Effect In August States That If You Supervise Two Or More Employees (cna???) You Become An "executive" And Are Threrefore Ineligible For Overtime Pay...i Don't Know If This Will Affect Nurses As I Have Only Heard About Via Different Forums And Do Not Know How Well Informed These People Are

It shouldn't have any effect on nurses. I recently saw an article that very clearly explained how nurses do not fall into the category of employees that will be affected. I'll post it if I can find it.

According to the US Dept. of Labor, Nurses, as professionals do not have to be paid time and a half. It was my understanding, unless there are state regulations that over-ride this law (like California's), that it is at the companies "discression" to pay time and a half under certain guidelines.
