my girlfriend is graduating from a CNA program next week and i'm looking for a nursing-related gift for her. any suggestions?:roll

How bout a gift certificate to her favorite nursing scrubs store or supply shop? Or how bout dinner out to celebrate? Those are two ideas the come to mind. OH and ANYTHING from Bath and Body Shop...ohhh yea, not very "nursey" but welcome anytime w/me. Good luck.

A sthescope if she doesn't have one; Tack pin that says CNA she can wear on uniform; pocket organizer with pens pencils, flashlight, bandage scissor ---if you are looking for practical gift. Local nursing uniform shop or Wear guard store will carry these items--lookin blue pages of phone book. Good website is http://www.nursesstation.com for gifts.

Gift certificate to uniform store always appreciated.

Prepaid cell phone if she will work in home care.

Flowers and dinner out nice. Even one lone red rose that you can give her at graduation ceremony--she can press in a book. Ask if you can attend ceremony--we encourage family members to come to our graduation ceremony: cake and ice cream served.

How about a gift certificate for a massage that she can use after she puts in some hours? She'll enjoy it, even if her muscles aren't tired.

I am ADDICTED to Bath and Body works!!!!! The salespeople know me by name!!!!:roll They even asked me if I wanted a job there one time!!!!:eek: hummmm.....something to think about:rotfl:

A stethoscope, some very nice pens-cause goodness knows she'll need them:D -, a clipboard, a lab jacket with her name embroidered (sp?) on it....all of these are GREAT suggestions!

oohhhh-a foot spa-now that is what she needs:chuckle
