I posted in an earlier post about getting a new job, but they dont do any continuing education so i was wondering how you go about getting those CEU's - is there a website or somewhere i can go? thanks!

Specializes in Geriatrics.

There is a website that might help- www.nursingceu.com They offer 2 free credit hours a month and many more that you can pay for. Just be sure that your BON accepts them. Each state is different. Good luck.

Specializes in Psych, Med/Surg, Home Health, Oncology.

A good site for CEU's is www.myfreece.com.

It is not actually completely free. However, you pay a yearly nominal fee & can get up to 150 CEU's per year. I use that site a lot. They many specialty sites.

I love that place!!

Nursing spectrum also has a site. There fee is also reasonable.

there are many resources, do a web search.

also, i would ask your fellow nurses at your new position. they may aquire their credits in a way you hadn't considered.
