missing documentation SEVEN times? That is not an accident, that is an unsafe habit. You are lucky if they only want you to be on probation and not suspension. If you think you were accused unjustly then you probably need an attorney. If this is fair, then abide by their rules and be glad you get to keep your license. If you are an impaired nurse, get help immediately.
Obtain legal representation. Check the referral service at TAANA Executive Office - Home for a nurse attorney in your area experienced in dealing with your nursing board.
Seven times for narcs only looks obvious and probation might help you if you've got a problem. if you don't have a problem with narcs retain a lawyer and take it all the way. Sometimes boards don't particularly like going to superior court and may dismiss it if you've got a valid reason for the errors. Seven times just doesn't sound good.
Call your malpractice insurance for guidance. I would be right on getting legal representation before doing anything.
We cannot regulate people and they are allowed to do as they wish. We can recommend but they are free to make their own choice.
OP it is probably best if you change your name (if it is your real name) Allnurses is public and can be seen, read, searched, by anyone.
I am sorry you are going through this...please seek legal advice and call your malpractice carrier.
