I hate when that happens. Congrats on being "perfect" (giggles).... There are positions at the hospital that the "rules" state that they have to interview at a minimum of 2 candidates "unless" the opening puts patient safety at risk or if the position stays open for more than 30 days with a viable candidate ready and acceptable for the position.
Just think about how EXCITED you will be when the call and say "come to work." YAY!

you'll have it. Same thing happened to me last year with case management. There were two other applicants, neither one who worked at the hospital, and myself who had been doing the job as relief for a year. But they HAD to interview them anyway.

They loved me. I'm perfect, the person they're looking for, just what they need - but HR insists they interview as large a pool as possible. That means, in this case, one other person. They hope this week.
