Anyone know this med?!?!

I've been prepping until I can prep no more for clinicals and try as I might I can't find the medication Calamine Phenolated. I've been through the Davis Drug book several times and have google so many different things I'm not to sure where else to go.

I have a hint that it might be calmoseptine, an OTC barrier cream used for break down around a gastic fistula, but I really can't find anything on it.

Anyone have any ideas?

Antipruritics:

in an oil-in-water vehicle. Topical antipruritics are preferred over systemic agents (such as oral antihistamines) when smaller surface areas of skin are affected and pruritus is not intractable. Calamine lotion is soothing but not specifically antipruritic.

You can also look up drugs at wikipedia.com. I didn't check to see if that particular medication is there, but I have found everything I wanted. I remember having the same problem with the Davis Drug Guide when I was a student-extremely frustrated. Good luck!

I'm assuming it's good ol' calamine lotion, the stuff you see moms slather on kids with the chicken pox!

from what I can find, it is any one of these:

Aveeno anti itch

caladryl

calamine-pramoxine topical

It is not calamine lotion, nor is it calmoseptine

Calmoseptine is menthol and zinc oxide with inactive ingredients of calamine, chlorothymol, glycerin, lanolin, phenol, sodium bicarbonate, and thymol "in a suitable ointment base."
