Have anyone heard from sarasota memorial hospital about their nurse residency program that was posted on the website in early December?

Four people for the whole program???? Or just 4 people today? I know there's 24 USF students graduating this summer with clinical there, so it is hopeless for most of them to get a job there?

@NewYorkerGirl sorry for the late response. The week that I interviewed they selected four people. HR told me that they had selected two others the previous week.

Congrats to those who got in! I am new to the area, does anyone know if/when there will be another application opportunity?
@AmyRN16 I believe they hire twice a year for the RN residency program.

I completed my ADN program 9/23 and applied to SMH, interviewed 9/29 for a med-surg/diabetic wound unit, they start new RN's in the residency program each month. I am just waiting to take my boards.
A friend of mine was just hired there. They hire new grads to the floors anytime and have a year-long residency. Sometimes they have specialized residencies like ER. She has an ASN, not BSN. They make you sign a 2 year contract (most Tampa-area hospitals require 2 years).
