i am hoping to start spring of 2012. I am going to the registration center this week. I am completely new to this so excuse my ignorance. Can anyone tell me the process, or my chances of making the 2012 class? i am starting for square 1 so any info would be helpful from the time you walk in, the the exams, to how much of a chance i have at making 2012 spring class. Thnaks

i havent taken it yet.... I am at complete square one. My fiance and I are being stationed somewhere else summer 2013 so I am hoping to leave with my rn from psc. Is this at all possible or am I totally clueless... I spoke with someone today that told me probably i am looking at fall 2012, which is just not an option... my back-up is Fortis, pensacola but it is not my ideal option. I am scheduled to take the HESI on the 29th. Thats as far as i have gotten. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

I finished all of my pre reqs in December 2010 and I have to wait to get in until January 2012. I would check with other schools to see how long their wait list is. Do you have all of the pre reqs done? Good luck with your test!

I finished my pre-reqs in summer semester 2010. Took the NLN (was last group to do so...now it's the HESI) I'm going into the program fall 2011. Wait times are about a year from completion of all pre-reqs and testing.

I took the HESI in November of 2010. I was told by a couple of different counselors that since I passed (and already have all my prereq's done) That I had been moved from "Applicant" to "Candidate" status and would start the program no sooner than January 2012. I keep waiting to hear something else, but haven't so far.

Hi, Yes I got my letter in March for entry this fall. I completed my medical packet within 10 days of receipt in mid April. :yeah: I have orientation in July.

My 2 friends who went in last spring semester received their letters late in the fall semester so if you go in Spring 2012 it will probably be the same for you. When you are moved from "applicant" to "candidate" you will receive a letter in your Pirate email only. From there it depends on where you are on the list as to when you go in. Have you talked with Ms. Lewis to see where you stand? She's the one you need to speak with.

I think Mrs Lewis is the one who told me I'd most likely start January 2012. She told me that last November. I was just wondering when I'd receive a packet because I knew there'd be a lot to do. I'm currently living in Northern California (my husband is Army), so I will be moving my family down there and just wanted better confirmation than an email before we moved cross-country! lol!
