Is there anyone out there who's been in the program and has a list of abbreviations, prefixes and suffixes I could start studying? Just trying to get started! :)

EAshleyT I was told that acceptance letters would be mailed out the second week in September. I'm not going into the nights and weekend program, but I would assume that you would get your letter around the same time. Hope that helps!

I think Mrs Lewis is the one who told me I'd most likely start January 2012. She told me that last November. I was just wondering when I'd receive a packet because I knew there'd be a lot to do. I'm currently living in Northern California (my husband is Army), so I will be moving my family down there and just wanted better confirmation than an email before we moved cross-country! lol! I took the HESI in November of 2010. I was told by a couple of different counselors that since I passed (and already have all my prereq's done) That I had been moved from "Applicant" to "Candidate" status and would start the program no sooner than January 2012. I keep waiting to hear something else, but haven't so far.

I am starting this thread to find anyone who is starting the Nursing program at Pensacola State college January 2012. I thought it would be a great way to share information and to meet potential class mates. I look forward to hearing from you!
