Nova Southeastern University Entry Level BSN?

I heard it from more than 1 person, and from a doctor's friend that work at baptist. They did told me that they pair us up with an RN in our last semester, and we work as a scholar at baptist 12-13 dollars/hr.

I sent my application way early than the due date, I sent it back in March or staring of April. I thought that the due date to give the application was May 1st??

Oh well, will see what happens :) and stay positive :)

Thank you very much! No the deadline is June 15. How long was the interview? What time was it? Did they tell you when they would notify the students if they received the scholarship?

it was literaly like 15 minutes, they told me that they will notify the students at the end of june.

9:30 am but i got there early due to the wonderful predictable weather we are having in Miami ..>.

Venned my interview is this thursday and yes i did do volunteering at baptist through volunteer services and i applied for the scholarship in the beginning of May

Oh that's awesome! I think you have a pretty good shot. I have another friend of mine who has her interview today. I think preparation is key! All the best to you!!

I just had my interview. I have heard that they dont pay you as a nurse rate but the minimum. something that made me doubt about it. Cause i have loans, I can pay them faster if I get paid as a nurse. The idea of being obligated to work with them exclusively is another thing. But in this economy a job is a job.
Well I had the interview, prayed to God to guide me and if is meant to be then it would be. Maybe this is the reason I didnt feel intimidated at all by the panel. In fact, they were nice to me. They all smiled, and made weather remarks.
So dont be afraid, and dont stress about situations you dont have control of. Good luck everyone

Hey, i know this is a bit off topic right now but i was wondering how far is everyone with completing everything to start? How are the immunizations going? Did anyone find any good shoes? I'm still looking. Do you know anywhere in Miami that has the same color scrubs for cheaper? I know they have old threads in this regard but most of them are in the Broward vicinity. Any info at all will be appreciated. Thanks in advance guys!

Congrats to everyone accepted. Let me warn you A&P is noooo joke! Start studying now! I got accepted and I had a 4.0 was an EMT, FF, Spent 13yrs in the army. I got 3 A's and a C this past semester. Unfortunately a 74% is considered failing. I will be in your A&P class. I actually am already studying 5 days a week. If you have any questions on your courses please ask.
