Nova Southeastern 2012 Entry Level BSN

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hello everyone!

I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

If you are:

currently applying or plan on applying, a former applicant, a current student, I'd love to hear from you!

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?

I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!

KKB

After you get accepted they give you the package with the info related to the scholarship !!!

Hey everyone!I'm almost done with my NSU application! I only have to mail in my last letter of recommendation. I hope everything gets there before April 1st! Does anyone think this will effect my chances if getting in? It took me this late to apply because I wasn't sure I wanted to attend nova. Anywho, I'm applying to the fr. Myers campus and hopefully I get in. My gpa was a 3.3 overall and a 3.1 in sciences. I have worked in a hospital since high school so not sure how much that counts. I am also in the process of finishing up Chem. What do u guys think my chances are of getting in?! Any feedback would be great!

Does anyone know how long the wait is until we hear something??

In the private chat that i had with nova.. they said by the end of may we are going to receive the packages by U.S MAIL

hey everyone! i thought i'd leave a comment here since i applied to nova's entry level bsn program for this fall too. i finished all of my pre-reqs and i submitted my application a couple of weeks ago as well as all of the other needed documents. i'm so nervous and so excited all at once!

Hi RNtobe1211,

I do not think it will affect your chances as long as everything is postmarked by April 1st. Although, im not quite sure. I still have to send in my last letter of recommendation as well, so i am in the same boat as you. I am mailing it today and hoping it gets in their hands by April 1st. :) I think you have a good chance! Good luck. :)

Hi everyone,

I am submitting my application TODAY!!! :D Ahh I am excited, nervous, scared... all of the above! Does anyone know how long the process is or how long it took last year to get a decision? Also, can you apply to more than one campus? I REALLY want to get in the Kendall campus since i live in homestead, but i really want to get into nursing school and would not mind going to the main campus. ALSO... what kind of questions were asked and answered on the online session? Im curious. :)

We are pretty much on the same boat. I live 5 mins away from the Kendall campus, but seeing how I really want to get into nursing school I applied for the main campus. There's a part in the application that will ask if you want to be considered for any other campus...so I picked yes. As far as when we find out, judging by past threads, I would say end of May?

I saw it and I clicked yes as well. :) I just submitted my application. Oh man, it is going to be the longest 2 months of my life!!! Hopefully we hear good news abd hopefully you get into the Kendall campus since you live 5 minutes away. That would be great for you! Do you know how many students get accepted into each campus? I know the kendall campus is smaller so they probably take in less. :/

My fellow friends and future classmates.. ( being positive ) lol.. i live 3 minutes from the kendall campus.. i am so anxious.. lol we should make a facebook page once all candidates of the kendall campus know if they got accepted or not... so we all are gonna know by the end of may...

Is anyone on here going to the ft.muers campus?!

AAAAHHHHHH!!!!! Is it May yet?!?! The application deadline isn't even here yet and we are already all so anxious!
