I applied to Nova's Entry Level BSN program today for Fall 2012 semester and thought it may be helpful to start up a forum.

Has everyone finished their perquisites? Does anyone else have a not so competitive GPA (like me)? Does anyone know who is considered a competitive applicant? Where is everyone else applying?
I look forward to speaking with everyone and hopefully entering the Fall '12 class together!
Hey again,I'm not exactly sure what the average GPA is for both schools but from what I've seen on here and online- they've accepted a range between 2.9 and above... I honestly hope both schools look at you overall- not just on GPA. Or maybe that's wishful thinking, lol. Maybe others can give better input but I personally feel its important to turn in a solid essay for Nova so they can get a better picture of you beyond just the GPA.
Hello FutureARNP53, FSU has always been my dream school. I can't even apply because I have not completed the mandatory foreign language requirements.
Anyway I have decided not to apply to Nova. I found out today I was accepted into Emory University! Good luck guys. Btw when writing your essay it is nice to tell the admission advisors that you like to help people, but besides that what else has driven you to pursue a career in nursing. So many people write about how much they enjoy helping others and thats it, well there are many occupations that helps others, like a cop, fire fighter, social worker, waiter, teacher ect. So be specific. That's my best advice to you.
Hey FutureARNP53.... WELCOME i am applying to the kendall campus too... i just finished my essay... and today i had final exam for nutrition class.. still remaining. micro micro lab italian and intro to health care :)
the reference form you can get from the same page where you are going to be submitting your essay... is in your left down side of the application... you can either send the request by email to the person who is going to write the letter or you can print out the form and tell them to email to NOVA..

hey everybody i applied as well for fall 2012 at Nova im anxious to get inwe dont find out until may ! i want the baptist scholars prgram , i currently work at southmiami i hope we all get in !
Does anyone have information on the Baptist Scholarship? Is it something we have to apply to or is offered to people after we are accepted to the program.
The deadline is April 1st so hopefully we don't have to wait too long to hear a response!
