Broward College Nursing May 2015

U.S.A. Florida

Hi everyone I didn't see one made yet so I guess this will be the official thread for BC May 2015!

Smaller amount of students are taken for the transition program is all..

LPNs are great, in the end we are all trying to better ourselves. lol and by the way, most were inquiring about August, not May if I recall

That's weird. The only start date for the transition track is May, unless they're changing that.

Lol thanks I do that now when I go to take a test I remember all the formulas and as soon as I get in the testing sight I wright it all down I'm not bad and math I just hate doing it so much but thank you so much and you did great on your scores I hope I do good I take it this month on the tenth so I'm studying...

Ooh OK and I no the lens can only go to north campus this may term.... what campus are you planning to go to north or central.....I wouldn't recommend anyone going to south because I work at a hospital as a tech and Broward college central campus does there clinicals at my job and the students told me don't go there because it's very unorganized and everyone fails classes there they all switched to central campus to finish there program.. and they also told me if you're going for may term start looking over process books it will really help you summer term is only 6 weeks for classes..... the process classes and the cardio classes and pediatrics are the big ones that a lot of people fail they said I'll find out which books they read if anyone is interested

South is fine. I like it there. It is great doing all your clinicals at Memorial as well.

Some people pass there but that is just a dirty campus and central clinicals are the same as well its just a real college experience there unlike south it's like a high school there south is closer to me but I don't think I wanna go there

It's still only May.

I'm guessing you just started there? Wait till you delve a little deeper... Students are saying the opposite. Also, for those looking for the most experience it'd be Central. BGMC is a level 1 trauma center, which I'm not too keen on, but my classmates love it there. It's akin to Jackson Memorial in Miami.

What campus is everyone trying to go to I have no idea what campus I should attend north central or south can anyone help with the decision I think I need 2 chose before I turn in my application in the 10th....

From my understanding, LPNs don't get a choice of their campus. I'd prefer north or central though based on where I -may- be living (with the grandparents in Margate).

Unfortunately you're right. This upcoming May is in North though so you're in luck! 2016 will be in Central. :)
