Nurses New Nurse

As some of you may know from my previous threads, I did not pass NCLEX in July. I had a job lined up to start in September. I was going to be doing an OR internship,which is supposed to be a great experience, but when I got my failure notification I figured that it was all over. Today I talked with my nurse manager, and she offered me to stay with the program. I will be taking the same class and clinicals (scrubbing instead of circulating) for 10 weeks as the other RN's. I will of course be making the salary of a patient care tech, but I am so psyched that I am still able to participate in this awesome internship :D I will retake my boards in October and if I pass I will then be able to learn to be a circulating nurse and have a head start on being a scrub nurse (as well as make more money). Just had to let everyone know how excited I am. I'm even more excited b/c I leave in a couple of days to go to the beach to stay with some friends until Labor Day :p
