Omg!!!

Nurses New Nurse

That had to be the worst test of my life.... I ended up taking all 265, so I don't feel very good about it... I had a ton of nutrition, the who would you see first, Psych, and Peds... Peds is my week spot, so hopefully I guessed right... But I am pretty sure I will be redoing it in 45 days.....

The hardest part of not thinking you pass is the humiliation of having to go to work as say hey Im a PCA again, but I can't pass my boards!!!

I was in the same spot that you are in. I still haven't gotten my results. When I took the test, I felt utter despair. Unfortunately, my state choose not to particapate in the quick results option, that Pearson offerers. Therefore, I am at the mercy of the state. I call the state daily, and they say that a license hasn't been issued, as of yet. The only way that I am not going crazy, is that some of the people that I have spoken to, state that it took them a week to get their results. I am praying and sending good thoughts your way. Hey, in a few days, you will be able to state that you are an RN. Good luck and keep the faith.

I took my NCLEX today and OMG it was also the hardest test I've ever taken in my life. The computer shut down after 75 questions. I feel so bummed out right now. But I gotta keep trying to think positive.

The Computer has to give someone the full test !!!!

Hi Nurs2b and Dixie,

Hang in there! Either way, the test is not what makes you a great nurse...its just a rite of passage. You both will make wonderful caretakers because you CARE that much about passing. But I understand the anxiety of the NCLEX as you know from my previous posts, it is hell waiting for those results.

All I can tell you is don't give up no matter what. In passing the first time you know you were meant to do so right away, if you have to take it a second, even a third time (like me) it makes you fight that much harder for what you really want in life. The fruits of your labor are that much sweeter. So know it is worth fighting for!

Take a breather in these next two days until you find out, go see lots of movies, eat some ice cream and depend on those friends and family who help you destress.

God Bless,

JacelRN

Here's wishing both of you the best. I can't imagine the stress you must be feeling right now. TRy to stay distracted and not to worry too much. Keep us posted. I will be glad to reply to your threads saying "I PASSED!!!" in a few days.

Wishing you both the best.
