Hi I was wondering if anyone new how many times you can restest in one year for the NCLEX???

I guess you can test 12 times in a year since it was changed to being allowed to test every 30 days. But you would have to pay and sign up for the next date immediatly after taking the exam, before waiting for results to get 12 times in a year...... It used to be a 90 day waiting period. Good luck in taking it!

FutureRN it depends on what state you are, bc in CA you have to wait 91 days before you can retest.

Waiting period between testing dates is 91 days. See "Application for Licensure by Examination for Registered Nurse."

Your temporary practice permit, if you were issued one, expires immediately upon the results of the first test being reported.

PA is four times per you that you could take it. But it is up to BON's discretion on when they will require you to retake some courses first.
