Hey everyone,

I am starting this thread for the upcoming 2016 Duke RN Residency. Im making the move to NC and I am looking forward to meeting all of you all. I have accepted a position in the CTICU and couldn't be more excited to get up there and get started. Feel free to comment where you all are going to be working and I will see you all in February. Good luck on your NCLEX !

I also have an interview next week for the ICU and stepdown unit.

Please share any good tips!

Hi. Let me know how it goes. Are you out of state?

Yes. I'm from NJ!

Goodluck on your interview. Hope to hear from you soon

Hi. How was your interview?

When did you apply? And did they say when you would start if offered a position?

Hi just about this post. Where do you apply for this NEW GRAD PROGRAM in 2016 WINTER. Thanks in advance.

How you all like the new grad program at Duke? I have my interviews coming up

Hi! I'm currently looking into the residency program for this coming winter at Duke. I am wondering if any of you can let me know if there is a required work commitment after completing the residency, and if so, how long? Also, for those who have done the program, do you recommend it!? Thank you!!

Thanks! I did get offers from both but I've always been interested in the ICN and I felt like it was a better fit for me. The PCICU was a really nice unit too but definitely a serious learning curve to get to know all the cardiac meds, congenital heart defects, etc. Both are great units though and everyone was super nice! Good luck!

I know this is forever ago, but I'm highly interested in ICN. However, I got a call for the CTICU. I don't know what to do. There is an open house for their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and I'm really struggling whether I should go or not. Also, I don't know whether to message HR about the open house opportunity. Did you just apply online, or go to open houses??
