Check with the board to make sure this will be supported with your lisence (as in they will not take it if you start this type of business). You will also want to hire a lawyer to get started. My friend just started one up that runs like a Co-Op. She had to get a lawyer for start up; to make it legit, which it is. All of her patients have 215 cards and most have cancer or some other terminal illness, and if not then a serious chronic disability. She is not a nurse yet; I tell her to look into finding out if she can keep her business once she gets her RN.

keep in mind that they get robbed alot! be safe and get a good security system or open by a police station.

Also, keep in mind that the feds don't care if you are a 'caregiver' for other peoples plants. K know of a dew cases where people went to prison because they were being a 'caregive for other peoples plants. Posession is 9/10 of the law.

I have also seriously considered this but my concerns regarding conflict with licensure and nursing practice have kept me from moving forward with the idea. I hear from dispensary owners that the income potential is GREAT(>30k/month). There is a school called Oaksterdam University that educates/trains for entering this industry. I'm thinking of taking a course and, as mentioned earlier, getting good legal advice and assistance if I proceed with the idea. Best of luck to you:)
