My nerves are shot! I check usually once a day but hadn't noticed the link had been removed. I haven't checked today though.

I've picked up a part-time job that can convert to full-time at any point so that's my back up plan..which I really hope NOT to have to use!!!! Next week!!!

Does anyone know how the fall semester works at Gateway or any of the schools for that matter? It looks life class is evey day all day, there are so may hour choices, how many hours are the classes actually supposed to be?

Also, how does a school expect you to take microbiology when the sections are full within one day? Craziness!

Thanks and best of luck. I am so nervous

I am in my last class of my last semester of the LPN to RN bridge, not at any of the community colleges (I go to St Vincent's). If/when accepted into the bridge program, you do a web based online class through Charter Oak prior to starting your nursing classes. In order to register for that class, the department head of the nursing program from the school you've been accepted to will send the authorization for you to take that class. At the time I took the Charter Oak class, it was only offered in the Spring semester (Jan-March) and in the Summer session. Once you pass that class, you then, you do a 1 credit class through your 'home' school. (whatever school you have been accepted by). My school had their 1 credit class start right after the Charter Oak class ended, I took mine in April.

Check the school that you applied to. Check for the LPN transitional class and see when its offered.

NVCC offers the LPN to RN transitional 1 credit class in the summer.

You HAVE TO take Micro in the summer or in the Fall if you haven't yet. they won't let you take NUR 101 without having micro done by this summer or Fall 2013. I am in my 2. semester at NVCC and still have to take one of my electives which is due by the 4th NUR semester, so I'm taking it this summer instead of during the last semester. Look at that "Program of Study" sheet that came in the NUR application info and make sure you have all the required classes either taken or take it before or during the assigned semester. Good luck everyone! Can't believe it's been one year since I received my acceptance letter! Hope you all make it in!
