I am currently an LPN, applied for the nursing program at Capital, just received the email that I was waitlisted, and given the waitlisted number 68. I do not think my odds of getting off that list are very good. I have all my pre-reqs completed and was hoping someone could give me some advice on what my next move should be.

I got accepted and I owe a lot of it to my advisor. She really helped me through the whole process and was honest with me about what grade was acceptable and what was not.So I knew my chances were great because she was on the board before and knew how the selection was.If you like I can personally give you her email.Clean up house a little bit more and apply again.Be kind to yourself. This is a journey..not a race.

Do you happen to remember the time frame in which they contacted you?

In 2022 I was #36 at Capital and they called me the first week of July. In 2023 I was #25 at Gateway and they called me the last week of June.
