  1. It definitely is confusing and frustrating. I have absolutely no classes left to take. For the past year I have been just taking classes I would need for my BSN. I even tried BHSN and didn't get accepted. I have no clue as to what I can do better other than taking my Teas over. I will remain positive. Congrats to everyone that did get in. ?
  2. I was wait listed at Gateway for the second time. I went and talked to an advisor to double check my GPA and I still have a 3.8 GPA. My Teas is a 70. I honestly do not know how they figure the wait listed numbers. This year I was waitlisted in the 60's out of 175. I wish I knew.
  3. Waitlisted again. ? Congrats to everyone that got in!!
  4. I just noticed it says that a letter was sent March 2014 of ineligible. But I never got a letter so I am guessing it is really not up yet. I should read it more carefully... just gave myself a mini heart attack!! Lol!!
  5. I just checked and the link is there and it says that I'm ineligible too and that we will be notified by mail from our first choice. This really sucks.
  6. Kell, I wonder how they choose because I have the same stats as you. I have a 3.8 GPA and 70 on the Teas. Took every class. I only need nursing courses. I have my CPR and I work in the medical field. I really wish they were able to say why someone does not make it into the program. I also took all my pre-reqs at Gateway too. I did apply again to Gateway so I'm waiting to hear. I always remain positive so we shall see what happens. Nursing school is so competitive. Congrats to you and everyone that got in to the program.
  7. The ineligible letters are going out this week, the week of the 31st. That is what the website says.
  8. Wow. I just looked it up on the DPH website and it is 63%.
  9. I thought St. Vincent's was supposed to be one of the better school's in CT. That's a low NCLEX pass rate. I saw on their website that they require you to maintain no lower than a B-. Most school's require at least a C+.
  10. Lol!! I am sure we all will be looking for that glitch again. ?
  11. Those are great stats jules. Last year we heard around April 10th or so. I read on the Community College website that they are sending out letters through email the week of March 31st to those that are ineligible. Then a week or so after they are emailing eligible and it will say accepted or waitlisted. I went on the CT-CCNP website and it's under applying and there's a red box with the information.
  12. I sent my application to BHSN in October and got my denial letter February 24th. This also my second attempt at GCC. I was wait listed too last year. That's awesome on your grades. This could be our year. Fingers crossed!! Good luck!!
  13. Thanks. I was really bummed getting that letter. Everyone I talked to said I had a good chance with my GPA, but BHSN must use Teas scores or maybe they had a lot of people with 4.0's. The other thing is I have no classes but nursing classes to take. I am going to keep at it. My time will come. I am hoping to get into GCC. We are supposed to hear mid April they said. I'm going to remain positive and hope for the best. Best of luck to you!! ?
  14. Well I got my letter and I did not get in. I'm pretty bummed about it. I still have a chance with GCC. Getting into nursing school is definitely very hard. I have completed all classes that need to be completed. I have been taking classes towards my BSN in the meantime. My GPA is still a 3.8, my TEAS was not so great though I got a 70. So I'm being positive and hoping for the best. Good luck to everyone that got in and that are still waiting to hear. ?
  15. I also applied to GCC and BHSN. I sent in my application to BHSN in October and my status still says application in review. So it is time to play the waiting game!!! Lol!!!
