Hello fellow Colorado nurses. Come on out and lets share.:kiss

Specializes in OB, Telephone Triage, Chart Review/Code.

I graduated from Front Range Community College back in 1989. Hoping to see a few of my classmates on here!

I currently live in NC. Was last in Colo. a year ago to visit my mom.

We are moving to Denver when I'm done with my program here. It's a few years away, but UCHSC has already approved my pre reqs and has me on file, all I have to do is pass the classes!

Can't wait, I've never driven in the snow, so all you Denver residents, watch out! :)

Been in Denver 34 yrs now. Worked at the same place 27yrs.

Graduated from ACC in 1999, any others? Would be neat to see what former classmates are up to now.

Any Colorado nurses out there know an instructor by the name of Miss "V". If you do and survived the training, you and I have something in common. I left Colorado in 1992. But go back about three times a year to see family.

I guess, I can still say, I am a Colorado Nurse. K?

I attended Larimer County Voch Tech Center on S. Sheilds Ave in Fort Collins and graduated in 1983. I have lived and worked in California for the last 17 years. (18 in Oct) It would be awsome to reconnect with cohort students!

I have only ben back to CO once since I left- I have Leadville poisoning!

Update. Graduated 1/2004. Started working in Denver, L&D a Health One facility. Liking it so far.

Hi, I'm graduating from ACC this December, LPN to RN program. I'll be looking for work in L & D. Anyone have any input on best facilities to work at, wages for new grads, sign on benes, etc.? I plan on starting my search in Nov.

I love Colorado.

Graduating in May from UCCS :D ...Super excited about nursing...trying to get on at Univeristy or Health One...should be a blast. See you all in May...

Specializes in OR,ER,med/surg,SCU.

thought it would be nice to restart at the beginning when the states forums was started.

I have worked both, rural colorado and the OR in Pueblo. Between the two of us, my husband and I have 6 children. All are grown and out of the home but one.

Looking forward to hearing an intro from other colorado nurses. :nurse:

I'm not a nurse yet but I am on the waitlist at Pikes Peak CC in Colorado Springs. Nice to meet all of you!
